La Federación Sionista de Chile derivó en una institución de la Organización Sionista Mundial (OSM) y busca cumplir con sus funciones bajo el alero del nuevo Consejo Chileno Israelí.
Su objetivo es generar conciencia sobre la importancia de Israel, para fortalecer la identidad al interior de la comunidad judía de Chile. Mostrar las contribuciones que Israel y el pueblo judío han entregado al mundo, especialmente en la búsqueda de paz con el mundo árabe, enfocados a ser la institución líder representando a Israel en Chile.
