Biographical history

Samuel Gleiser casado con Juanita Portugueis tuvieron 5 hijos.
Fue un destacado abogado y embajador de Chile en Israel entre 1974 y 1976.
Estudió en el Liceo de Talca, el Instituto Nacional y la Universidad de Chile. Es el autor del texto jurídico "Prontuario de los Juicios".
Miembro activo en la Comunidad en diversas instituciones destacando su rol activo en la Federación Sionista donde fue Presidente, el Comité Representativo de la Colectividad Judía de Chile, el Instituto Chileno Israelí de Cultura, Miembro Honorario del Instituto Central de Relaciones Culturales Israel-Iberoamérica, España y Portugal, Presidente del Tribunal de Honor de Keren Hayesod de Chile, Keren Hayemet, Secretario General de "Avodá Chile", Director del "Mundo Judío", entre otras.
